New Blog

Hey, guys,

I’m sure you’re all aware that it has been eons since I’ve posted anything, and I wanted you to know that I’ve actually set up a new blog, one that I can use for my writing as well as my reading. It’s a work in progress, but it’s coming along! I may someday come back to this one, but for now, it’s on a permanent hiatus.

~Stay bookish.

Quote of the Day 3/27

“I’m Dimitri Belikov. This is Rose Hathaway. Sydney Ivashkov.’
Normally, a human introduced with a Moroi last name would have warranted a double take. But it was clear this woman never heard anything past Rose and Dimitri’s names. I saw it clearly in her eyes: the same awe and worship I’d observed in so many other faces whenever this dynamic duo introduced itself. And like that, the woman turned from fiercely protective doorkeeper to swooning fangirl.”

Quote of the Day 3/23

“‘He had this idea for a new creature, but then when he made the slug, he realized it didn’t have any protection.’
‘So you think the slug was the prototype. That the snail is just the finished product.’
‘Exactly,’ Luke says, turning his head to look at me.
‘So why are slugs still around then? Why didn’t God just say “Whoops, I made a mistake.”‘
Luke sighs in an overly dramatic way. ‘Ella, this is God,’ Luke says. ‘He has an image to protect. He can’t go around letting everyone know he makes mistakes. “My bad,” sayeth the Almighty.”‘”
