C is for . . .

Remember how I warned you about a Top Ten list? Well, I could have done that for A, but I refrained. I could’ve done it for C as well, but I narrowed it down to three. I had to cut a lot of people out for this one. However, since there are three of them, the desriptions mihgt need to be a bit more brief. *Also, NONE OF THESE ARE IN ORDER. IF I COULD PUT THEM IN ORDER, THIS WOULDN’T BE A TOP THREE*

1. Crickett Bell from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Favorite Characteristic: He’s a very consistent character, I feel. He’s incredibly understanding and the fact that he waits for Lola like he does. . . *melts*
Favorite Quote: His story about Lola and the stars. It’s really long, but I feel like it’s necessary to have the whole hing there.
“Once upon a time, there was a girl who talked to the moon. And she was mysterious and she was perfect, in that way that girls who talk to moons are. In the house next door, there lived a boy. And the boy watched the girl grow more and more perfect, more and more beautiful with each passing year. He watched her watch the moon. And he began to wonder if the moon would help him unravel the mystery of the beautiful girl. So the boy looked into the sky. But he couldn’t concentrate on the moon. He was too distracted by the stars. And it didn’t matter how many songs or poems had already been written about them, because whenever he thought about the girl, the stars shone brighter. As if she were the one keeping them illuminated.
One day, the boy had to move away. He couldn’t bring the girl with him, so he brought the stars. When he’d look out his window at night, he would start with one. One star. And the boy would make a wish on it, and the wish would be her name.
At the sound of her name, a second star would appear. And then he’d wish her name again, and the stars would double into four. And four became eight, and eight became sixteen, and so on, in the greatest mathematical equation the universe had ever seen. And by the time an hour had passed, the sky would be filled with so many stars that it would wake the neighbors. People wondered who’d turned on the floodlights.
The boy did. By thinking about the girl.”

2. Cristian Ozera from the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead
Favorite Characteristic: His snark. Ohmygod, Christian Ozera made me laugh so much in that series. But it’s not like he’s all snark and witty quips. He has his adorable moments, and he’s really understanding. I feel like he would be the best best friend. He is a really good friend to the main character as well. But even when he’s being sweet and understanding, he still makes it funny.
Favorite Quote: I really like the quote about Little Dragomirs, and official council business. (If you’ve read the book, you know what I’m talking about.) But I think my favorite is “If you weren’t so psychotic, you’d be fun to hang around” or “I love pity parties. I wish I’d brough the hats.”

3. Charles Cornick from the Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs
Favorite Characteristic: Umm, he’s Charles? I love that he’s so strong, but throughout the series you see the softer side of him. I love how he would do anything for the people he loves. He’s not reallya book crush for me, because he’s way older (even if you forget the fact that he’s a werewolf), but I still love him in a totally platonic way.
Favorite Quote: “Fortunately, he’d found that most people were easy to locate at five thirty in the morning.” or  “Charles preferred his deer to taste like meat and his pancakes to look like pancakes. Brother Wolf thought he was too picky. Brother Wolf was probably right.”
